Hello! Welcome to my blog about Swift and WatchKit development!
Why?
I’ve always wanted to write a blog about something I’m interested in and actually stick to it. I’d like to write 20-30 posts before the end of the 2019 (WWDC should help with that), covering a wide range of topics relating to developing apps for the Apple Watch.
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Will Bishop, I’m 16, and I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I started developing Apple Watch apps when I was 15, starting with Nano for Reddit, and then Chirp for Twitter. I’ve been writing Swift code for over 2 years, and specialising in Apple Watch development since December 2016. You can keep up to date with my projects on Twitter. At the time of writing this I’m developing MiniWiki, in an attempt to bring Wikipedia to the watch for free.
What do you want to see?
I’d like to write tutorials and maybe do QnA stuff if I can actually get enough questions.
Since I specialise in WatchKit development, including releasing two apps (Chirp for Twitter and Nano for Reddit), I figure it makes sense for me to write about WatchKit.
Any and all of my tutorials will use Apple’s Swift language, but if you’re reading this I can assume you’re probably already familiar with it.
Anyway, leave a comment below with what you’d like to see and I’ll get right to it!
